Prices for construction pipe products posted modest increases in June. Prices for reinforced concrete pipe increased between 0.2% and 0.5% this month, keeping annual price increases between 4% and 6.5%. A downward revision in RCP 24-in.-dia pipe prices held annual gains for that category to only 0.5%. Prices for PVC sewer and water pipe increased between 2% and 3% this month, leaving the average price between 3% to 5% higher than a year ago. Prices for ductile iron pipe also climbed between 1% and 2% this month, leaving prices 7% to 8% higher than a year ago.
